RE: [Keralites] Jai Hind

Dear Manoj,

You advised us to " Give a meaningful line in the subject line" and we do
agree with your comment
But what you wrote on that mail's subject line ? There is no relation
between the Subject line and your mail......
it is not applicable to you .......ha...ha..

Dear All Friends

When you would have sent something to a group, please give a meaningful line in the subject
field.

Therefore, people can easily identify the mails as per their interest. Some times people
are over excited to give subject field captions like "Great", "don't miss it", "you have to
read this". This should be avoided and always keep subject as the summary of the mail.

Give a brief description about the links, which you are pasting in the mails.

Everybody is busy, therefore people will simply ignore it or surf unnecessary things and
waste time.

If the content is small, just paste it in the mail itself, instead of giving a link.

Regarding forwarding mails, please follow the group member's previous comments and Spaarks
articles (E –mail Etiquette Matters.doc). Some mails are really ugly in its structure, even
though the contents are good. You have to open too many attachment mails to see the real
content. I think many of our members have an intention, just to see their mails in the
group, even if it is repeating. Please avoid it, first read all the mails from the group
and then start forwarding.

Make things simple and beautiful.

Why we need to create a complication by rerouting to too many links, just like Microsoft
Help?

Thanks & Regards

Manoj Mathew
