Hi....


this is Santosh....from Delhi...i;ve jointed this wonderful group recently  m also  among the  sufferer of the Airtel cellular service.  i've got GPRS Mobile Internet  499 unlimited browsing plan  activated on my post paid number for which i have paid the actual rental and one month advanced rental also, but after the discontinuation of the GPRS service on my number they have send me a bill for downloading which they said earlier that your download limit is unlimited under 499 rental plan. i've  called customer care a number of times and the representative there has confirmed  that  this  is the problem of our billing department  that once you have 499 unlimited plan activated on you no. you are eligible to download unlimited content frm the web and your bill will be rectified within 24 hours of time....

 but after two days outgoing calls frm my number has been debarred and upon asking the reason,the customer care peoples said that your bill is 100% correct and you have to pay all the outstanding amount and few days later they discontinued my number.

this is real example of cheating, fraud and negligence . the private players are just making fool of their customers to increase their database and profit subsequently ... i ask all the gud peoples out there to thing 1000 of times before going with Airtel preferably  not to take any connection wid Airtel\....

My name is Arpana i am a member of this wonderful group for more then three years even I am using the AIRTEl as u have told us that (please fight for your right and don't seat idle in case you are cheated by someone) i have faced so many problem because of air tel regarding hello tune very month they have deducted amount from my balance also without informing me they had subscribed me for the hello tune.
 
If we will call them for the inquirer the same ans they use to give us always please call after 2 hour the information is not displaying in our system as you know about Mumbai life we doesn't have time to eat then who have this much time to call them again & again.
 
Still i am facing the same problem but i can't change my number because my all the client have the same number.

Without your permit, no one can make any change in your mobile connection. So, as said by Vasanth in the trailing mail, Pls don't accept any things until you feel comfy with their schemes or services.
 
If anyone has suffered or felt as cheated by telecom operator's then you can escalate the issue to the concerned circle VAS manager for resolution.
 
Aside for Renu: Dear, If you has been charged for Hello Tune without informing you or become the subscriber. Then its your fault, as you haven't escalated the issue. Because it can be easily identified that via which medium you got subscribed or in case if its really by mistakenly then you can claim or get refund for the amount deducted from your account.
 
So, please fight for your right and don't seat idle in case you are cheated by someone.
