When Norton Antivirus 2004 was released, it has a totally new licensing scheme. You need to enter Serial Number to install Norton Antivirus. After that you'll need to activate the product either over the Internet or by phone. I remembered that for Norton Antivirus 2005, it has a Key Generator created by " The Millennium Group" that simply generate a bogus 'activation code' of the type given to licensed users over the phone.

All you need to do is to generate a serial number to install Norton Antivirus 2005, then you'll get a random phone registration code. Enter the phone registration code into the key generator and it'll generate an Activation Code for you to license Norton Antivirus 2005. Back then Norton Antivirus 2005 was still quite popular.

When Norton Antivirus 2006 came out, it has bad reviews all over it for resource hogging! Norton Antivirus 2006 was quite a failure that crackers don't even want to create a key generator for it! Now Norton Antivirus 2007 is out and it has a much better review that says Norton AntiVirus 2007 is faster and lighter on system resources than previous versions due to code rewriting; includes firewall-like protection; includes enterprise-level antirootkit technology. When good things are available, crackers gets back to work...

This time Team MAGNITUDE has created a Key Generator for Norton Antivirus 2007. Same registration style as Norton Antivirus 2005. Enter serial number to install, copy the hardware code into the keygen and generate an unlock / activation code.

By the way, there is no way to select whether you want to activate Norton Antivirus via phone or internet. If you disable your network connections and try to activate online, it would fail after a few tries and it will automatically switch you to phone activation.

If you use Torrent Harvester and search for the word " Norton Antivirus 2007", you'll get a long list of result.

Come no Symantec, you can do better than this current outdated Product Activation! If you really want to use Norton Antivirus, it only cost $39.99 to purchase a full license. Much cheaper compared to the amount you need to spend on Windows Vista!

Follow the screenshots below on how to activate your Norton Antivirus 2007 via Phone Activation.

1. Disable your Network Connection. Right click on the two small computer icon on your traybar and select Disable. This will disable your internet connection.

2. Select install Norton Antivirus

3. Enter Norton Antivirus 2007 Product Key and click I Agree.

4. You will get a message saying that "Activation requires that you have an Internet connection". Click on Next button.

5. You will again get an error message saying "You must be connected to the Internet to complete this task. Please connect to the Internet and try again". Click the OK button

6. Continue doing the above until you see an option where you can select to activate online or by phone. Select "Activate by Phone" and click Retry.

7. After selecting "Activate by Phone", you'll get your hardware code on the second line where it says "Be ready to provide the number below". You have to call Symantec, provide them with your Norton Antivirus 2007 hardware code, and then Symantec people will generate an unlock code according to the hardware code that you've given to them.

8. After you entered the unlock code to activate Norton Antivirus 2007, you'll get a screen saying Activation Complete.

There you have it, the steps to get your Norton Antivirus 2007 hardware code and activate it via Phone Activation if you do not have an Internet connection. I don't understand why Symantec made is so hard to activate via phone since it's one of the legitimate activation method provided by Symantec.
